I have compiled this animoto to show various gig posters from our chosen genre and others. From analysing these posters i can see the main features are to:
Use the Album Cover (Guns n Roses)
Keep the same typography of the band(Morrisey)
Keep the same colour scheme is promoting an album (The Smiths)
Many use bold fonts
Always use contrasting colours to stand out
An iconic image usually takes up the top two thirds.
