Filming

On Thursday I got a couple of the band members back to film some scenes. Firstly I filmed what will become the stop motion of the room setting itself up - each part of the drum appears, then the flag behind the drums, and then the drummer appears to drum on the beat. I might have this at the start of the performance or mix it into the bathroom scene to make it faster and more interesting, however I'll see what works best when I edit the footage. We had intended to have a vinyl sticker with the band name on the drum to make it look more like a real band, however Dan didn't make this so I had to make do and just have the plain drums. On Sunday I will also film close ups of the band playing the instruments, the flags, set lists, beer bottles etc to mix up the band footage. The new narrative when the editing has been done will be simply that Joe and Georgy argue, he wakes up afterwards and goes out to party. This represents the image and the rock and roll lifestyle we are trying to show. I will put up filming photos later.
