Indie

I have created this video using iMovie, i used a mash up of indie youtube clips, music clips and various transitions pre-installed on iMovie. I decided to make a video explaining the genre as indie is all about the aesthetics. This is a key concept i want to apply to my own video, as long as we represent the scene and the actors in a realistic environment then the audience will believe it.

The indie music scene bases itself around the guitar, pretty much every indie artist expresses their creativity with different guitars and varying chords. The Drums have their own individual sound based on their chords. Some bands do go against this convention such as the Arctic Monkeys who have an equal amount of the drum rhythm and chords, which works as a "question and answer" approach.
