Record Company Logo

Firstly I thought of a name for my record company. When using a band name generator I came out with the name "The Above Average Panties" and whilst I didn't really think this was suitable, I liked the name "Above Average" and chose to use this as my record company name. I think it sounds professional and realistic. I then downloaded a font called 'All Over Again' from www.dafont.com. I experimented with a few different fonts at first but thought that this represented the type of music that the company would produce - it is messy, therefore quite rock and roll. I really liked the font and then simply opened a new template in photoshop and put the words in seperate text boxes. I experimented with a few different ways of arranging the words but decided that this worked really well, especially on the white background. Here is a printscreen during the work process:

And here is my final product:

Although it was quite simple and didn't take too long at all to put this together, I'm really proud of what I've produced and think it looks really professional. Regardless of what digipak design I choose to use, I think I'll definitely be incorporating this logo into it somewhere!
