I like this idea for a front and back cover as the black and white work really nicely together and have a cohesive style. The barcode, logo, websites etc make the cover look professional whilst the black and white and flowing font give a different side to the band. However it might be giving an incorrect image of the band as I wanted to show them as a rock band. I do like this a lot but think a more Indie style front and back cover might be necessary - the different side to the band can be shown inside the digipak.
I like the idea of the Union Jack ashtray as the CD insert as it is the exact shape of the CD. However I think this perhaps needs to be in colour and I need to cut around the centre of the ashtray to make it look cleaner and more professional. The image of the band rehearsing with the quote by Pete Doherty - or in this case, my frontman - also give a more personal feel to the digipak and give the fans an insight into the band's lives. I also like the way this looks and I think I'll be keeping it for my final piece.
